I’ve always been a fan of Ako and baru je dpt tahu dia ada Yahoo Group from my friend Aida. She discovered the YG recently while surfing the Net.

I’ve taken pics with Ako before but this was my first time meeting his girlfriend cum PA, Lynna. Sebelum ni tgk dlm magazine and Trek Selebriti je. She looked really sweet on tv so I mmg excited nak jumpa.

In real life, she mmg mcm kat tv. Sooooo sweet. Very friendly, rajin berborak and rajin betul ambik gambar fans Ako with her camcorder. What a sporting girlfriend!!! Ako, bertuah you dapat girlfriend camni yang rajin layan peminat2 you : ) She even told us how they met, siap kutuk2 Ako lagi, hehe :)

Lynna is from Tawau, Sabah. Nope, she didn’t know Mas before : ) Besides jadi Ako’s PA dia ada gak buat side business. Buat hamper and kuih. She brought samples of her kuih batang buruk that day and it’s so sedapppp!!! The Sabah version is different from Johor’s. Hers is made from popiah skin and it’s very the crunchy. Me and Aida terus order. Lagi excited bila Lynna ckp, her delivery boy will be Ako himself, hahaha… You show him who’s boss Lynna! ;)

I’ve registered at the YG and will post there soon! :)

p/s: Ako has finally wrapped up shooting the 2nd season of “Dalam Hati Ada Cinta”. Tak sabar nak tengok!! Last season tu, ending dia sooo tergantung!! Tak puas hati betul! :)

I was on my way to buka puasa at Chakri Palace with a few friends and bumped into Norman KRU. Dalam hati masa tu terdetik, 'Aiseh, takde budak AF ke?' Hehehe.... Masin mulut... :)

When one of my friends arrived at the restaurant, dia ckp dia pun nampak Norman KRU. Tapi dia nampak Anding as well! Aiseh, melepas jumpa Anding!

But suprise, suprise, rupa-rupanya Anding pun buka puasa at Level 4 KLCC. My friends saw Anding & Ikram exiting Al Marjan Restaurant from our restaurant lepas habis makan. They pointed him out to me tapi I tak nampak!

So, sbb tak puas hati, I suruh one of my friend yang mmg ada nombor Anding to sms him. My friend ni mmg pemalu, tapi I tau dia nak sms Anding sebenarnya, hehe.. Nasib I ada to coax her, haha. Baik betul Anding, dia reply sms tu. So I ckp kat my friend, pegi lah call.. tanya dia kat mana, boleh jumpa ke, etc

Anding bagi green light so we all (just 2 of us, lagi dua orang pegi shopping) pun pegi lah cari kedai 'Bateel'. Yang kelakarnya, me and my friend dua-dua kerja kat KLCC tapi both tak pernah perasan pun kedai Bateel tu, hehe. Kedai kurma rupanya! Apparently mmg famous kurma shop from Arab. I guess sbb I ni bukannya rajin makan kurma yg coated with chocolate kot. That's why tak tahu.. hehe..

Anding beli satu kotak kurma (RM165) for his mom. Nanti dia kirim through Bob who will be flying back to Sarawak soon.

Lepas Anding dah beli tu, me and my friend gi pusing2 KLCC with Anding. Last2 duduk kat bench borak2 sekejap. Bagus tul Anding, rajin dia melayan. Mmg best borak ngan dia. He was shooting for drama Akademi. Shooting kat area BB, and he mentioned ada shooting kat rumah Malek Noor. So Anding kata recently KLCC ni mcm rumah kedua dia. Selalu buka puasa kat KLCC. At Al Marjan tu dah 2x dia buka kat situ. Bila dia sampai tadi, semua restaurant dah fully booked, tinggal Al Marjan je yang ada kosong. Tu yang makan kat situ lagi tu.
When I tried eating at Al Marjan I thought their kebabs were a bit dry, but Anding kata buka puasa kat situ ok.

Anding kata dia baru je pindah ke rumah Kaer. Sebelum ni dia duduk kat rumah En Baha. I told him I saw Kaer shopping at Ombak etc last Friday. Anding said, he was with Kaer at that time, cuma dia dah gi sembahyang Jumaat. Rupanya, the guy who was with Kaer was Rashid Sibir, hahahaha. Thanks Anding! I ingat PA Kaer ke.

Ooh.. talking about PA Kaer, heard from friends Kaer tgh cari PA. Kalau candidate yang dicalonkan by SM yang dapat, I kenal le sapa. Calon tu pun mmg kawan Kaer, so bagus lah tu. Dah le handsome! Hehehehe. Muka mcm Amer Munawer Ruffedge :) Sbb SM ada mention Kaer ada telefon candidate tu.. tak tau le if to setuju jadikan PA ke apa lah kan.

Anyway.. moving on... Anding masa tu nak shopping pulak, nak cari baju for gathering Edlin FC. Tapi shhh, ni rahsia. Edlin tak tau Anding nak dtg, sbb Anding ckp kat Edlin dia nak balik Kuching! Kesian Anding, kena cari baju colour pink sbb colour theme Edlin Gathering tu pink and white. I'm not going, but my friend is.

Btw, Anding looked really nice. Dah semakin berisi nampak badan dia. Bagus lah, nampak macho sikit :) Anding pun ckp dia nak put on weight.

Adus.. sekarang ni baru le menyesal tak beli camera handphone. Byk pulak jumpa budak2 AF kat KLCC lately! Padahal I ni bukannya selalu lepak2 at klcc ni! Kalau lunchtime, mesti pegi gym. Lepas office, mesti gi gym or balik terus. Somehow, bila I ada plan lepak2 kat KLCC mesti jumpa AF2. Bagus punya instinct, hehe :)

In a nutshell, itulah the gist of my conversation with Anding. Lelain tu borak2 biasa, tanya2 soalan biasa2. Ngan Ikram pun I byk borak. Friendly betul dia. Selalu dia nampak mcm serious je.

Safin chatting online. Comelnyaaaaaaa! Hehehe.. Oh no.. I am not going to tennis tournaments anymore!! Unless he comes to Thailand though, hehe.

Andre will always be no. 1 and irreplacable, but Safin is my pelapis once Andre is gone. Federer has a complete game but he is too perfect mcm Sampras. I find them kinda boring, hehe. But I definitely prefer Federer over Sampras.

Safin sure reminds me of the younger Andre Agassi. Both are very enigmatic. You just don’t know what to expect from them most times! Talent-wise, both are very talented, but adusss…. kenapalah suka take their own sweet time. Rebellious and tak serious. Kdg2 tu, main2 je. Padahal, should’ve won more titles than they already have, if they had applied themselves. But I guess all the drama supporting them is what endears me to them.

I mean, who can forget Andre's dress sense!! All the looks he sported... The pirate, the jeans, the dangling earings, the bandanna, the pink outfit, yellow, lime green, painted nails, blond hair? hehehe.. Mcm2 adaaa....

The ups and downs supporting Andre... Oh wow.. The joy when he won Wdon 92! Then a dip in form. Then he won US Open 94 continued with Oz Open 95. 1996 he had a pretty good year but I was soo disappointed to see him lose to Becker in Wimbledon that year. I was gutted!!! Just gutted!! Later, a dip in form lagi. Watched him lose to Doug Flach in the Graveyard Court (Court no.2) in 1st or 2nd round of Wdon in 1999. I was there at the gate of Court 2 and he walked in front of me, with a despondent look. Sedih sgt. Then the sheer joy of winning French Open 1999! In an intense 5 sets lagi. Siap ngan added tension of rain delay. I still remember watching at my apartment in London. Jantung masa tu rasa mcm nak meletup dah, tak tahan tension, hehe.. And his comeback since that... From the bottom of my heart, I respect you Andre. You sure did it your way. To achive what you are doing now, at your age, being recently married with young kids, I know it's a lot of work, sacrifice and commitment. Your legs might not be as fast as before, but you sure make up for it with a lot of heart and u sure sweat your assets! Experience, strategy, and more free points with your serve. I want you to relax, enjoy family life Andre, yet it's gonna be hard not to see you playing tennis anymore! And it's also hard to see you getting beaten more and more... Sigh...

Safin pulak... How he took the tennis world by storm, beating Sampras good in US Open final 2000. Awesome stuff!! The sadness and emptiness I felt when he lost to Johansson in Oz Open 2002. Aaarghhh!!!! Dah le it was his birthday that day!! Dambaan Pilu betul!!! The agony seeing him play like shite after his injuries.... And the optimism seeing him make it to the Oz Open 2004 final.... letihhhh betul... rollercoaster, rollercoaster.. hehehe.. It just makes the wins all the more sweeter..

I noticed they both seem to do well in Oz Open. Andre winning in Oz 4x, and Safin making to finals twice.

Gosh.. it's late! I need to sleep :)

All the best Marat. I hope u learn your lesson from Andre. Don’t wait till it’s too late to appreciate how much you enjoy tennis! Keep on playing. Just watching you play makes me smile :)

This was Astro's buka puasa for their invited staff and corporate clients.

Since I dah janji temankan my friend pegi Ako FC gathering, had to miss this, much to my own disbelief, hehe. Tapi takpe, kena belajar tak jumpa Zahid selalu :) Next week pun ada buka puasa with AF2 lagi. Plus, I had fun getting to know Ako, his gf and his fans.

Tapi sayang gak, sbb byk pulak colleagues from PETRONAS dpt invites to the buka puasa. Kalau pegi, pasti enjoy sbb byk kawan. Oh well, takpe, sbb my good friends as usual took a picture of Zahid especially for me. Thanks Hakim (tukang amik gambar) and Nisa (camera owner). Muahs!

Yes yes yesss!! Andre is through to the semis!!!!!!!!!!!!! He lost the first set in a tie-break, but deep down I knew he could win!! Tough luck for the home crowd tho. I like Robredo a lot (I like a lot of things Spanish, hehe) but I love Andre more. He's da man!!! Sure has a lot of heart. Sorry Andre for bailing on you after the 1st set! It was 3am already and I needed some sleep! ;)

A title in Beijing recently, and now the semis of a Masters. It's good to see him with his head screwed on tight! :) So much potential, yet the attitude not quite there yet most times. He sure reminds me of Andre when he first burst into the tennis scene. So much potential, so much talent, yet he hadn't really sorted out his head. He could've done so much more.. sigh...

Nasib le I'm not a football fan gak! :) I'll be rooting for Arsenal though, as my bro sokong Arsenal and my fren is the president of Arsenal Supporters Club. Sorry Zahid! :)

Let him wait another year, I say, hehe. 10 is a nice number what! :) I still want Schumi to win! If not Schumi, nak Jenson menang :)

Terkejut gak nampak Kaer at KLCC. I thought these guys are busy beyond belief, hehe. Masa I bumped into him tu, I was talking on the phone, so tak tegur lah. Kalau tak, mmg dah tegur dah. Kaer was with another guy, tgh shopping for interior design products rasanya. Kedai2 dia masuk was Ombak, Lotus Arte, Claycraft and Khazanah. He bought some stuff from Claycraft. I was there until dia masuk Khazanah je, lepas tu I had to go, so tak tau dia pegi mana lepas tu. Kinokuniya kot, hehe. Dia ada ckp dia suka lepak kat situ kan.

If I had a camera hp, dah lama amik gambar sbb he looked so cute. He was in beige colour scheme. Pakai sunglasses. Aiseh, menyesal gak tak tegur, tapi takpelah. I wanted to ask him how the shooting of the drama bersiri Akademi is going on.

Itu je lah nak report, hehe.

Listening to the CD as I type this. The album is out and the first batch of 2,500 copies is already sold out! Nasib baik I got my promo copy. Kalau tak, menangis tak berlagu ler kena tunggu!

Love the CD cover because ada colour orange, hehe. Have to say, this is the best cover of any AF artist album. (Vince lain le, dia EMI). Apparently, all the previous AF album covers were outsourced by MAESTRO but this one was done by ASTRO's Graphics Dept. So good job Astro! :)

I have to say I prefer the original version sbb lagu ni byk dinyanyikan beramai2 with R/Edge instead dinyanyikan solo by Zahid. I do like the new music arrangement though, as the intro is more catchy and upbeat. Bila keluar the opening line "Mmg berat..." I was a bit disappointed sbb it was sung together and the result was kinda low key je. I definitely prefer Zahid singing it himself. Pastu the rap pun was not by Zahid alone :( My favourite version of Milikku by Zahid is during Anugerah ERA 2004. Best gila!!! :)

ASTRO, 7pm++

First of all, selamat berpuasa kepada semua Muslim readers.

Just a brief review ye. Penat Rumah Terbuka AF2 masih terasa, hehe…

Anyway, here goes:

I arrived just in time for buka puasa. Wasn’t expecting a lot of people but what a surprise, ramai jugak! Must be due to the fact that it was Zarina and Mas’ birthday on the day itself.

After registering we all went to the café where food was provided. The AF stars were already seated and eating when I came in. I was with KSNM committee (Yan, Sha and Odah) at that time. Kitorang buat2 tak nampak Zahid hehe. Merajuk le kononnya, sbb dia tak nak amik gambar ramai2 ngan KSNM and his parents masa RTAF2 recording :)

Those yang dah selalu jumpa Zahid will know that dia ni suka buli/usik fans yg selalu jumpa/amik gambar ngan dia. In lieu with the numerous Zahid events recently, mmg ler committee le yg paling selalu jumpa dia :) I (yang bukan committee) was more segan than merajuk. These last few days kan byk events Zahid. Canai Fest, RTAF2 and now DS1. Tu yang bila nampak muka dia, menyorok, haha. Nasib tak pergi Citroen handover and Car Wash at NZ :)

Anyway, lepas dah selesai buka puasa, budak2 AF2 pegi touch up make-up. Lepas I dah habis makan, hanya Linda, Zarina and Edlin were still at their table, so gambar depa je lah yg I amik before recording started. Linda was the last to leave the café. She was still eating after the other stars dah gi changing room, hehe. Yelah, sbb dia tak puasa kan. So perut dia boleh makan byk.

Dlm studio we are not supposed to take pictures during recording so I’m afraid I don’t have their pics while performing. Most pics I took were of them after the recording. Should’ve passed my camera to Hakim as I normally do during recording (as the kids were all waiting for their turn in the changing room). Aiseh.. Slacking there, hehe. Is this a sign that my demam oren semakin kebah? Aminnnnn :)

Recording started around 9.25pm. Unfortunately, you guys have to wait quite awhile to watch DS1 AF2. It will be aired on New Year’s Day 2005. It sure is worth the wait though. I definitely enjoyed DS1 more than RTAF2. Not many reshoots and most sang their AF2 Final songs which we are familiar with. RTAF2 took way too long. Imagine ye, 2am pun tak habis lagi!!

Btw, they used the same set as for RTAF2. The stage is circular and there is some space for people who want to stand. Further back there are benches for those who prefer to sit. That was me and the KSNM committee, hehe. There are 3 tiers and those benches are hard man. Sakitt!!!!

Btw, I’ve never seen so many Zarina fans. Sblm ni tak visible sgt like Farah, Mas, n Anding fans. Linda fans pun during RTAF2 recording baru nampak. Zarina and Linda fans all stood up at the top most tier of the benches sbb depa semua bwk banner kain yg besar-besar. Zarina’s fans bwk kek, a huge cloth banner and they mostly wore their blue and orange FC T-shirt. Now I know Zarina’s FC colour!!

Linda’s FC came in droves! They were the most prominent; decked in red, with 2 huge cloth banners and lotsa love shaped red posters with Linda’s name. So happy to see so many Linda supporters after all this AFMasuk business and the booing debacle at final concert and reunion concert.

Farah FC lak, someone who stood near the stage brought a huge “We love U Farah” cloth banner. Zahid FC pulak? Hehehehe.. I mmg tak plan nak dtg at first and I figured sure tak byk org dtg so I mmg tak pakai orange or bwk any posters. There were a few fans wearing orange but all were scattered unfortunately. Out of the committee members present, Odah sorang je yg pakai orange. Yan wore an orange cap. We felt sooo bad but takpelah, Mas FC, Anding FC , Kaer FC etc pun tak bwk banner or pakai warna FC. Later, we told Zahid that we’re sorry tak bwk banner. As usual ngan jokingya he replied… “Takpe, tapi terasa gak sebenarnya”. It wont happen again Zahid!!

The AF2 finalists sang their final songs while the rest sang either their Evolusi song or cover versions of other artiste.

Persembahan AF2 Stars in order:

1. Mas – She sang a really upbeat and catchy rock number. Is this her Evolusi track? I pun tak tau.. Tajuk pun tak tau.. Mmg kelakar tgk gelagat selamba Mas. She had to record the song twice sbb mula2 tu silap lirik. Sblm menyanyi siap tersendawa lagi in front of the mike. Hehehe… This time Mas wore all black. Black pants and shirt with a tank top on top. I didn’t really like her baju but her hair was nice. Not kerinting, but she had a dreadlock extension fixed in a ponytail. Very pretty.

2. Kaer – “Kembali Bersama” He looked really good. Sorry takde gambar Kaer. He wore a baby blue and white vertical striped shirt. He looked really good with his highlighted hair. His big sis Jojo was in the audience.

3. Adam – “Haruskah”. Adam wore a long sleeved red shirt and a short sleeved blue shirt on top. Tak dilupakan, bandangan merah, of course.

4. Farah – “Tangisan Dalam Kerinduan”. She wore a light yellow satin butterfly top with khaki coloured pants

5. Zarina – “Kasih Tak Bermakna” (Lagu Zarina in Evolusi ke?). She recorded this twice which I didn’t understand why. Sedap je dia nyanyi the first time round. To me, this slow ballad is not that catchy tho. But who knows with more listening.. I managed to talk to En Baha before he left the building and he told me he was going with Zarina to Korea on the next day. Wow! Maybe someone can fill me in on what it's really all about? Apa-apa pun, enjoy yourself Zarina and make Malaysia proud!

6. Linda – “Aku Cinta Kamu”. I thought Linda looked the prettiest. I loved her pink sequined skirt.

7. Bob – “Cinta Seorang Teman”.

8. Nurul – Lagu Siti Nurhaliza I think. Tak tau tajuk. Nurul was dressed in all black. She wore a black top with black skirt. Sooo comel.

9. Fitri – “Dendangan Laguku”. Same song as per Konsert Reunion AF. He was decked in blue and yellow. Didn’t wear a kimono, but tetap ada imej jepun as he wore his hair up in a Shogun-like ponytail.

10. Edlin – “Halaman Cinta” (Misha Omar). Wow, she sang this really well. Power habis. Still tak leh lupakan the teary-eyed version sang by Nana. Good job Edlin!! Edlin wore a brown top and long skirt. To me lah, she should not be given long skirts lah.. Nampak lagi kecik.

11. Anding – “Higher Deeper” (Ferhad). Poor Anding, I think dia tak sempat hafal lirik (these kids have way too packed a schedule and most probably the producers yg pilihkan lagu ni for him) so he had to record 3x. Tak sempat ambik gambar Anding. Sorry Anding fans.

12. Zahid – FINALLY! Penat gue menunggu weii, hehehe.. He sang “Milikku” of course. Zahid wore a beige cap, orange t-shirt and a beige jacket on top of that. Seluar tak ingat.. Just normal jeans I think. Best best best dia perform. I really love this song. Tak sabar nak tgk the music video for this. I was told that at first Anding wanted to co-direct this video, but unfortunately dia takde masa nak siapkan storyboard. He might have time to direct for Bob’s video though.

13. BONUS song – Everyone was invited onstage by Zahid for the last song - “Menggapai Bintang” by Zahid & Adam, featuring Farah. Farah tak byk nyanyi in this, more to backing vocals and jerit “Breep Breep!!!” hehehehe. I haven’t heard this Evolusi song on the radio yet, but managed to listen to a copy of it courtesy of Hakim. I have to say the song is much better performed LIVE. At the end of the song Zahid siap melompat lagi tunjuk peace sign to the camera hovering above.

After the show, the kids went back inside. The fans who wanted to celebrate Mas and Zarina’s bday were asked to go to the North entrance – the place where everyone registered earlier. Too bad they didn’t let us go to the Café. But I understand lah, it was already 11pm++.

Last year during RTAF1, it was recorded in the day and during puasa, so mmg buat one take je sbb org semua puasa kan. Lepas habis recording terus buka puasa and we had loads of time to mingle with the AF stars. It was Khai’s birthday so everyone got to sing happy birthday to him at the café.

Anyway, Mas and Zarina went to North entrance to cut their cake, amik gambar with fans ramai2 and then they left. Kesian the fans. But I guess itupun dah cukup bagus and happy le kan.

Well, that’s it lah. Citer2 I jumpa Zahid tak payah le cerita. Nanti ada yg ckp nak show off kan, so I best leave it at this. Basically dpt jumpa Zahid outside their changing room and jumpa Zahid and the gang at the Astro entrance door when they were leaving.

Before leaving Astro, Zahid drove his new Citroen C3 up to the Astro door to let us take pics of his new car. Mmg cantik!!! In fact, Zahid pulak yg disuruh cepat balik by abg2 Astro kat situ, sbb depa nak clear off the premises asap. So siapa ckp Zahid sombong ye!!!
